CC07Product Summary
Venrium-500 Pralidoxime Iodide Injection 500mg/20ml is a prescription antidote used for organophosphate poisoning under medical supervision. Available in 5 × 20ml glass ampoules for IV
Venrium-500 Pralidoxime Iodide Injection 500 mg/20 ml is a prescription emergency medicine containing Pralidoxime Iodide (2-Pyridine Aldoxime Methiodide), an oxime-class cholinesterase reactivator used in the management of certain organophosphate poisoning emergencies.
Pralidoxime Iodide Injection works by helping reactivate acetylcholinesterase enzymes inhibited by organophosphate compounds, provided the enzyme-inhibitor complex has not undergone irreversible aging. This action helps restore neuromuscular function and reduce certain toxic effects associated with organophosphate exposure.
Venrium-500 Injection is intended for use in hospitals, emergency departments, intensive care units (ICUs), toxicology departments and critical care facilities. It may be administered as part of an established organophosphate poisoning treatment protocol, generally alongside atropine and other supportive medical interventions.
The product contains 500 mg of Pralidoxime Iodide in a 20 ml ampoule, equivalent to 25 mg/ml. It is supplied in amber glass ampoules designed for professional medical use.
